Freedom In The Dance, Inc. (F I T D) is a non-profit evangelistic dance ministry that travels the world teaching and ministering in the dance. F I T D has been established since 1988 under the direction and leadership of MICKYE CASTILLO! Mickye surrendered her will and life to God at the age of 13. Since that time the Lord has given her many different styles of dance to show forth the praises of God. These dances vary from interpretive movement, hip hop, modern, lyrical jazz, African, and her personal favorite praise and worship dance. Some of these dances include tambourines with streamers, flags, ribbons, veils, and more. Mickye is passionate about bringing the dance alive with creative garments, dramatic makeup, and choreography that preaches the gospel of Christ through every movement. Mickye feels that it is our responsibility to minister the gospel with passion and creativity. Dance should not be just movement, but it should be an expression of the many ways that God chooses to preach His word. It is her personal goal to take the dance out into all the world and proclaim that there is "Freedom in the Dance!" The Lord has opened the door for Mickye to raise up and establish a dance ministry at the Potter's House in Dallas, TX. Mickye has been the Director of Dance at the Potter's House (Before His Throne) for more than 8 years. It has been an honor to work with Bishop T.D.
